Issued at 15:28 Sunday 10 February 2019
Snowstorm Tuesday night into Wednesday ...
A strong storm will move across Southwestern Quebec Tuesday.
Snow will gradually begin Tuesday afternoon and rapidly intensify in the evening. Heavy precipitation will persist on Wednesday.
Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm are generally expected with the passage of this storm. The St Lawrence Valley, between Montreal and Tadoussac, as well as the Outaouais region could receive between 30 and 40 cm. In addition, strong winds combined with snow may cause significantly reduced visibilities in blowing snow.
Quickly accumulating snow as well as blowing snow could make travel very difficult.
